GENERAL TERMS and RELEASE
The World Methodist Council reserves the right to alter the program, speakers, dates or venue at any time, without notice. The WMC will make every attempt to communicate any changes to the event via the World Methodist Conference website (worldmethodistconference.org), through social media, and via email. Should for any reason the venue change or the event be cancelled due to an act of terrorism, extreme weather, disease control, industrial action, act of God or any eventuality beyond the control of WMC, we shall endeavor to reschedule.
Sharing registrations: One registration may not be utilized by several individuals. Group registration discounts and 1-day registration options are provided.
CONFERENCE PRINTED MATERIALS
The World Methodist Council will provide one (1) printed copy of the WMC Conference program book for all registrants at check-in with the exception of those only attending the Global UMC Clergywomen Gathering. There is a mobile application (mobile app) of the Global UMC Clergywomen Gathering program available at no additional charge for those registered to attend the Gathering. Printed copies may be purchased on the Merchandise Page of this registration site or on-site at $5.00 each.
REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
Refunds will be available for cancellations received on or before July 30, 2016. A $50 processing fee will apply per person cancelled. After this date no refunds will be granted.
Substitutions: Should a registrant be unable to attend, they may send one substitute in their place. WMC must be notified of all substitutions prior to 28 August 2016. If a special registration rate was utilized, the substitute must meet the requirements of the special registration type.
PAYMENT POLICY
Full payment is REQUIRED for EVENT REGISTRATION. You may pay your fee by the following methods:
- All Locations: by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Diners Club – “World Methodist Council” will be the name appearing on the charge)
- In the USA: By credit card or with a certified check or money order
- Outside the US: By credit card or electronic funds transfer – bank wire transfer (contactregistrar@worldmethodistcouncil.org for details).
All payments must be received prior to 1 August 2016, or your registration may be cancelled.
Needs-based assistance is available for those who qualify. Contact registrar@worldmethodistcouncil.org. Submitting an application is no guarantee that assistance will be granted.
IMAGE RELEASE – CONSENT TO RECORDING AND USE OF PHOTOS AND VIDEO OF ATTENDEE.
Representatives of the World Methodist Conference may record, by video, photograph or other means of reproduction, the Attendee’s name, voice, image and physical likeness, and may use any such recorded matter for promotional purposes without further consent, notice or compensation.
Also, due to the presence of cell phones, tablets and other devices with photo and video capability, please be advised that by attending the World Methodist Conference you may be photographed and/or captured in video images by the cell phones and devices of individual attendees. With an expected attendance of over 2,500 guests we are unable to control what images are collected. If you have a concern about this policy, related to the use of your image and/or likeness in any of the professional photos or videos collected by WMC, please contact Barby Bowser, World Methodist Council.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY
The client hereby indemnifies WMC, its officers, directors, members, employees, agents, affiliates, and volunteers and holds WMC, et al., harmless from and against any costs, damages and expenses, including legal fees, incurred by the client. I, THE ATTENDEE, INTEND THIS TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF ALL LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW.
