Getting to Houston

The City of Houston is serviced by two major airports. Greeters will be at the airport near baggage claim during peak travel times from 29-31 August. They will be wearing white vests with the World Methodist Conference logo and/or green cowboy hats, so make sure to look for them when you arrive!

Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)

With more than 700 daily departures and 30.8 million domestic passengers passing through its gates in 2013, Bush Intercontinental is the largest airport in Houston.

All five terminals are connected by an automated people-mover and underground train. Wifi internet, retail stores, and more than 50 food and beverage outlets ensure a pleasant visit. Visitor information centers, a currency exchange booth, as well as ADA amenities are also available.

Bush Intercontinental Airport is located about 20 miles north of Downtown.

Houston Hobby Airport (HOU)

Hobby Airport serves domestic destinations and offers wifi internet, retail stores, and more than 12 food and beverage outlets. Visitor information centers as well as ADA amenities are also available.

Hobby Airport is located about 11 miles south of Downtown.

Bus Transportation from Airport
